Our Firm
OUR FIRM 

Baker & Lawson, Inc. was founded in 1965 by Mr. James Baker and Mr. Carl Wachtstetter to provide civil engineering and surveying services throughout the Texas Gulf Coast. The firm was incorporated in 1980 as Baker & Lawson, Inc. Currently, on its fourth generation of owners, the firm has maintained its primary mission of design and surveying services for over 50 years. Doug Roesler, PE serves as President and Robin Crouch as Vice-President. 

The staff has over twenty-five years experience in civil design, planning, survey and water resources. 

The staff at Baker & Lawson, Inc. combines their technical capabilities, past experience, dedication and enthusiasm to offer the finest service through an integrated team effort. Annual billing is slightly more that $2 million with a practice mix that includes both public works agencies and private development interests.

Our insurance coverage includes $2,000,000 general liability insurance, automobile, and worker's compensation. In addition, we carry professional liability with errors and omissions with a $2,000,000 limit. Baker & Lawson, Inc.  maintains worker's compensation and employer's liability insurance in conformance with applicable state law. Furthermore, we maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with bodily injury and property damage. A certificate of insurance can be supplied evidencing such coverage upon request.
